How We Protect Our Users

A practical overview of the safety, privacy, communication and marketplace protections built into Gadget Trade.

Keep important activity on Gadget Trade

Gadget Trade is designed to keep product questions, transaction discussions, reports and supported order activity inside the platform where possible. Keeping important conversations on the service helps preserve useful context when a dispute, scam report or safety review needs attention.

Protecting account and payment information

We do not need your password, one-time authentication code, card PIN, CVV or other payment secret for ordinary marketplace support. Do not send these secrets to sellers, buyers, support contacts or anyone claiming to represent Gadget Trade.

Safer marketplace communication

Messages may be checked for patterns associated with off-platform contact requests, payment redirection, personal-information sharing and common scam language. The goal is to warn or restrict risky requests while allowing ordinary product and transaction conversations to continue.

Verified sellers and trust signals

Where verification is available, Gadget Trade can display verification status as a trust signal. Verification does not guarantee a transaction outcome or every statement made by a seller, so users should still review listings and use sensible judgement.

Reports, support and review

Users can report suspicious or harmful behaviour and contact official Support. Gadget Trade may review relevant account, listing, communication, transaction and security information when reasonably necessary to investigate reports, resolve disputes, protect users or enforce marketplace policies.

Privacy and data protection

Personal information is handled according to the Gadget Trade Privacy Policy. Public listings and profiles should not contain private credentials, banking information or unnecessary personal details. Privacy requests, including eligible deletion requests, can be made through official support channels.
