What a Gadget Trade subscription is

Gadget Trade subscriptions are optional paid memberships that add premium marketplace capabilities to the account. The exact price, billing interval and availability of each plan are shown in the live Subscription page and are the current source of truth. A user should review the displayed plan before paying because plan availability and pricing can change.

GT Plus / basic membership

The standard premium membership is designed for users who want a broader premium marketplace experience. Depending on the active plan catalogue, included benefits can cover premium profile styling, an eligible profile badge, expanded Nova AI access and current research, enhanced discovery for eligible listings, subscriber-only marketplace offers, priority support access and premium community perks. Annual versions can package the same tier for a 12-month membership period.

Seller Pro membership

Seller Pro is designed for active sellers and creators who need additional marketplace intelligence and seller tools. Depending on the active plan catalogue, benefits can include everything in the standard premium tier, advanced Nova seller intelligence and research, enhanced listing discovery, advanced seller analytics, Reel growth or promotion tools, community creator tools and eligibility to apply for seller verification. Annual Seller Pro plans provide a 12-month membership period when available.

Subscription verification badge

The Gadget Trade Verified subscription add-on is a paid profile badge membership. When active, it displays a blue-style verified seller badge on the Gadget Trade profile for the subscription period. The subscription badge is separate from free/manual seller verification: paying for the badge does not by itself mean that the account has completed the manual seller-verification review, and the badge can expire when the paid subscription period ends.

What subscribers can expect

• A premium account experience rather than a separate marketplace account.
• The benefits listed on the selected plan at the time of purchase.
• Premium access that remains tied to the paid membership period.
• Subscriber-only features or offers where the selected plan provides them.
• Clear subscription state and payment verification inside Gadget Trade.
• Automatic loss of subscription-only benefits when the membership period expires unless another eligible subscription is activated.

How payment works

1. 1Open Settings → Subscription and review the available plans.
2. 2Select a plan and read its displayed price, interval, description and Included list.
3. 3Continue to the secure Flutterwave checkout presented by Gadget Trade.
4. 4Complete payment using an available supported method.
5. 5Gadget Trade verifies the transaction on the server before treating the membership as active.
6. 6Return to the Subscription page to confirm the active plan and its benefits.

Activation, renewal and expiry

A payment attempt is not the same as an active membership. Gadget Trade activates the subscription only after the transaction is verified. The membership remains active for the period shown by the plan. When the period ends, subscription-only benefits and subscription-based badges are no longer active unless a new eligible subscription has been purchased and verified.

Subscription badge versus manual verification

Gadget Trade can have both paid subscription badges and a separate seller-verification process. The paid badge is a membership feature. Manual verification is a trust-review process with its own eligibility and review requirements. Users should read the verification documentation rather than assuming that a subscription payment completes manual verification.

Billing, payment references and support

Keep the payment reference shown by the checkout or subscription record if you need help. If a payment has been completed but the membership has not activated, use the verification/retry action in the Subscription page before making another payment. Never send passwords, one-time authentication codes, card PINs or full payment credentials through chat.

• A separate route to apply for seller verification; subscription does not automatically approve the application.

What the paid verification badge provides

• A visible blue-style verified seller badge on the Gadget Trade profile.
• Badge access for the paid subscription period.
• Automatic expiry when the paid badge membership ends unless renewed.
• A feature that is separate from manual/free seller verification.

What a subscription does not promise

• It does not guarantee that a product is authentic, safe or suitable.
• It does not guarantee a sale, ranking position or transaction outcome.
• It does not automatically approve manual seller verification.
• It does not replace marketplace policies, payment checks, delivery terms or buyer due diligence.

Where users can confirm their benefits

The Subscription page displays each available plan’s current name, price, billing interval, description and Included list. That live display should be checked immediately before payment because Gadget Trade can change plan availability, pricing or included benefits in a later release. Public documentation explains the feature categories, while the checkout page is the final source for the amount actually being charged.

Plan changes

The available plans and prices are controlled by Gadget Trade’s current subscription catalogue. If a future release adds, removes or changes a plan, the live Subscription page and the public documentation should be updated so users can see the current benefits before paying.
