Why verification exists
Verification adds an additional trust signal to eligible accounts or sellers. It helps Gadget Trade apply marketplace controls and gives users more information when evaluating who they are dealing with.
What verification does not mean
A verified status does not mean that every listing is accurate, every transaction will succeed or every statement made by a user is guaranteed. Buyers and sellers should still review the actual product and transaction information.
Keeping verification accurate
Verification can be reviewed or changed when account information changes, a security concern arises, or marketplace requirements are updated. Users must not copy or falsely reproduce verification indicators.
